More than 1100 individuals from mortgage banking firms, independent mortgage brokers, commercial banks, community banks, credit unions, investors, insurance companies and others providing products and services to the mortgage industry are experiencing the advantages of membership in the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association. Since 1929, the MMLA has provided the real estate finance industry access to the Legislature and state regulatory agencies to help produce and maintain the type of legislation and regulatory climate that permits lenders to fully meet the real estate financing needs of Michigan residents. The MMLA also provides educational opportunities to help members keep abreast of the rapidly changing mortgage origination, underwriting and servicing environment. MMLA maintains timely contact with its members through newsletters, legislative alerts, and the MMLA web site to relate industry trends and developments.
