Liz Shaw has extensive experience in communications, currently serving as Communications Coordinator for the Michigan Municipal League since 2010. Responsibilities include writing and editing news releases, managing the organization's website, researching and writing magazine articles, as well as handling media relations and event marketing. Prior to this role, Liz spent 16 years at The Flint Journal as a Health, Environment & Outdoors Recreation writer and briefly held the position of Chief of Marketing Communications and Media at the Michigan State Medical Society in 2010.
