James Kral

James Kral has over a decade of experience in accounting and financial management, currently serving as Financial Controller at Michigan Paving & Materials since May 2016. In this role, responsibilities include managing financial statement preparation for 22 aggregate divisions, overseeing general ledger reconciliations, and leading budget and forecast preparations. Prior to this, James held various positions at Alex Brands, including Assistant Controller and SOX Compliance Manager, and gained experience as a Senior Staff Accountant at Active Aero Group. Early career roles included staffing for Accountemps and a tax auditor position with the Internal Revenue Service. James holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy.
