Paulette R. Parker

Paulette R. Parker is an experienced digital media professional currently serving as a Digital Media Producer, Reporter, and Digital Journalist-Blogger at Michigan Public since September 2015, contributing to the State of Opportunity project funded by a grant. Prior to this role, Parker gained valuable experience as a Newsroom Intern at Michigan Radio, where daily news assignments and news spot packages were created. Additional freelance contributions were made at The News Hub, focusing on innovative approaches to current events. Parker also held positions as News Editor and Staff Writer at The Washtenaw Voice, honing skills in hard news and feature story writing as well as event coverage. Educational credentials include an Associate of Arts in Journalism from Washtenaw Community College and further studies at Eastern Michigan University from 2015 to 2018.
