Bill Martin

Bill Martin has a diverse work experience spanning from 1971 to their current role as the CEO of Michigan Association of Realtors. Bill began their career in the US Army as a Sergeant and then served as a Trooper in the Michigan State Police from 1978 to 1986. Bill then transitioned to politics and served as a State Representative in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1987 to 1994. Following their political career, they worked as a Commissioner at the Michigan Lottery until 1999 when they became the Director of Michigan Department of Corrections. Finally, in 2002 they assumed their current role as the CEO of Michigan Association of Realtors.

Bill Martin attended Ypsilanti High School from 1967 to 1971, where they received a diploma. After high school, they enrolled at Western Michigan University to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement Investigation and Interviewing. The specific start and end years for their university education are not provided.
