The Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides no-cost consulting, business education, market research and technology commercialization services to Michigan’s new business ventures, existing small businesses, growing businesses and innovators. The Michigan SBDC is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. The statewide host of the Michigan SBDC is Grand Valley State University's Seidman College of Business.
