Elizabeth Silver Young (Betsy)

Elizabeth (Betsy) Silver Young is an experienced marketing professional with a diverse background. Elizabeth (Betsy) currently holds the position of VP of Marketing and Communications at MSU Federal Credit Union, where they are responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. Betsy also leads a talented marketing team and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with overall business goals. Prior to their current role, Betsy served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Reseda Group and as the AVP Marketing Officer at mBank. Elizabeth (Betsy) also co-owned MindsetMavens, where they co-created the Run Your Day: Morning Mindset Planner. Before entering the marketing field, Betsy gained experience as a Communications Technician at Alpena Community College and as a Marketing Creative Specialist at MSU Federal Credit Union. Additionally, they have worked as a Chiropractic Assistant at Healthy Living Chiropractic and as a Server at Claddagh Irish Pubs. Betsy's earlier experience includes a role as a Trainer at Stillwater Grill. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in various marketing activities such as social media management, website design, graphic design, campaign creation, and event organization. Betsy is known for their ability to deliver exceptional member experiences and for championing digital transformation initiatives.

Elizabeth (Betsy) Silver Young completed their high school education at Battle Creek Central High School from 1998 to 2001. Elizabeth (Betsy) then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Michigan State University, graduating in 2006. In 2020, they attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, specializing in digital banking.
