Ara Topouzian

Ara Topouzian serves as the Executive Director of the Michigan Venture Capital Association and the Michigan Venture & Entrepreneurial Foundation, focusing on supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem and advocating for venture capital in Michigan. Previously, leadership positions include President and CEO of the Troy Chamber of Commerce and the Farmington/Farmington Chamber of Commerce, where efforts were directed towards membership growth and community engagement. Ara Topouzian is also an award-winning musician, specializing in the kanun, with extensive performance experience across Michigan and the United States. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Wayne State University.

MVCA is a nonprofit trade organization designed to bring together venture capital industry participants in the state of Michigan. The organization’s goal is to grow and sustain a vibrant venture capital community in Michigan. MVCA membership includes private and corporate venture capital funds, angel investors, universities and economic development organizations, and service providers.
