Alison Newell

Alison Newell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the media and data center industries. As a Founding Member of the Forum for Women in Data Centres since June 2024, Alison advocates for women's participation in the sector. In their current role as Chief Operations Executive at MiCiM Ltd, which began in April 2017, Alison has held various leadership positions including Head of Business Operations and Marketing and Information Manager. Prior to this, Alison served as the Production Executive at A-Z Films from 2010 to 2018 and held roles including Managing Director, Producer, Director, Writer, and Editor at Letsmake Limited from 2009 to 2018. Alison's earlier experience includes being a Document Controller & Project Secretary at Mace and a Project Manager at Ace Films London. Alison’s educational background includes a Diploma in Script Development from NFTS and an Upper Second Class BA (Hons) in Media Production from the University of Lincoln.
