Andrew Wood

Andrew Wood has a wealth of experience in finance and accounting, particularly within the biotech industry. Andrew has held various roles, including Chief Financial Officer, at multiple companies such as Micrima Limited, LIF Nano Rx Ltd, GeneFirst Ltd, and MitoDys Ltd. In these positions, they were responsible for accounting, tax matters, company secretarial support, and providing management and board level support. Andrew has also been a member of the Finance and Tax Advisory Committee for the BioIndustry Association, where they helped guide policies to create a supportive financial environment for UK bioscience companies. Prior to their roles in the biotech industry, Andrew held finance positions at companies like Oxford BioMedica plc, Yorkshire Cable Group Ltd, Burton Group, and Hull & Grimsby Newspapers Ltd. Throughout their career, Andrew has successfully managed fundraising and mergers, demonstrating their strong financial leadership skills.

Andrew Wood attended St Catherine's College, University of Oxford from 1977 to 1981. During their time there, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with first-class honors in Biochemistry.
