Benjamin Baggett

Principal Antenna Engineer at Micro-Ant LLC

Benjamin Baggett has extensive work experience in the field of antenna engineering. Benjamin started their career at Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems, where they specialized in phased array design and analysis for radar applications. Benjamin also gained experience in antenna radiator design and conducted electric field tolerance studies. After that, they joined Virginia Tech as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on optimizing aperiodically spaced phased array antennas for their M.S. thesis. Benjamin then worked at ViaSat as an Antenna Engineer, responsible for designing and implementing multi-band Earth Observation reflector antennas. Finally, Benjamin joined Micro-Ant LLC as an Antenna Engineer, where they were involved in the design and implementation of novel antennas and RF components. Benjamin later assumed the role of Principal Antenna Engineer, leading a group of electrical engineers and overseeing the full spectrum of product development related to antenna systems.

Benjamin Baggett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2009. Benjamin went on to complete a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution in 2011.
