Steffen Biermann has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Steffen started their career in 1992 as the Leiter Qualitätssicherung at KOMOS GmbH Komponenten Module Systeme, where they stayed until 1999. Steffen then joined mkf GmbH as a Konstrukteur, eventually becoming the Konstruktionsleiter until 2007. In 2007, they joined Micro-Hybrid Electronic GmbH as the Head of R&D Department, where they stayed until 2021. During their time at Micro-Hybrid Electronic GmbH, they also held the role of Director of Development & Industrial Engineering. In 2017, they became the Managing Director at CMOS IR GmbH.
Steffen Biermann received a Berufsausbildung Elektromonteur from the Betriebsschule des Energiekombinates Süd Gera-Langenberg in 1982-1984. Steffen then went on to obtain an Ingenieur für Elektronik degree from the Fachschule für Elektrotechnik und Keramik Hermsdorf (Thüringen) from 1987-1992. Finally, they earned a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Technische Informatik / Automatisierungstechnik from Hochschule Mittweida from 1993-1997.
