Atlee Mercer

Atlee Mercer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical writing. Currently serving as a Contract Technical Writer at Micro Key Solutions since March 2009, Atlee previously held significant positions including Immediate Past Board Chairman at Osceola Regional Medical Center from January 2015 to January 2021, and Past Chairman of the Osceola County Expressway Authority from June 2013 to December 2018. As Osceola County Property Appraiser from June 2006 to January 2009, Atlee successfully reorganized the office, achieving budget goals while reducing staff and vehicle fleet. Additionally, serving as an Elected County Commissioner from November 2002 to June 2006, Atlee participated in multiple boards, including MetroPlan Orlando and LYNX. Earlier, as Chairman & CEO of Micro Key Software, Inc. from January 1985 to December 2002, Atlee founded and led a successful software development firm before its sale in 2003.
