Enrique Plaza Baez

Enrique Plaza Baez is a highly experienced professional in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and aeronautical engineering, currently serving as CEO and CTO at Microavia since February 2023. Previously, Enrique held the position of CTO at SCR from April 2021 to March 2023 and contributed as UAS Project Leader at NTT DATA from June 2019 to May 2021. Enrique's career includes leadership roles at EXPAL Systems, CONYCA SL, and POANT, with a strong emphasis on UAV project management and development. Enrique has also been involved in academia as a teacher of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at the university level and collaborated on aerospace material projects at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Enrique holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Aeronautical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Project Management Professional certification, and has pursued further academic development at institutions such as Harvard University and Télécom Paris.
