Daniel Bates is a seasoned chemist with extensive experience in research and development across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Research Chemist in Innovations at Microban International since October 2021, Daniel specializes in identifying new chemistries and developing formulations that drive business growth. Prior roles include Research and Development Chemist at Bona AB and Architectural Chemist at BASF, where Daniel managed numerous projects focused on exterior coatings. Early career experience includes roles at Jet-Hot Coatings and mentorship in chemistry at Elon University. Daniel holds a Master's of Business Administration from Elon University (2013-2015) and a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from the same institution (2007-2011).
