Imelda Wistey has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as Content Marketing Manager at Microbe Formulas, which they began in 2021. Imelda also currently works as Content Manager + Copywriter at Koda Brands, which they began in 2021. From 2020 to 2021, they were the Director of Communications + Content Manager & Digital Marketer at Spartan Lifestyle Coaching. From 2017 to 2021, they were an English Instructor at Indian Hills Community College and an Adjunct English Instructor at Des Moines Area Community College. Imelda also held the role of Writing Tutor (Online and In-Person) and Honors Instructor & Mentor at Des Moines Area Community College from 2017 to 2021. From 2014 to 2016, they were an English Instructor at Iowa State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Additionally, they were a Swim Coach at Des Moines Swimming Federation from 2016 to 2017. Imelda Wistey attended Grinnell College from 2010 to 2011. Imelda then attended Iowa State University from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English with a minor in Classical Studies. Imelda continued their studies at Iowa State University from 2014 to 2016, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English.
