Karen Willoughby

Karen Willoughby has worked in various roles since 1991. Karen began their career at ERDAS as International Business Development, managing a distribution network in the Asia- Pacific Rim region for a high growth start up company in the G. I. S field. In 1995, they joined Nike Soccer as a Sports Marketing Manager, part of the sports marketing team to build the US Nike Soccer Brand. In 2006, they were Program Director at The International Center, leading the Sports Corps Division and managing, recruiting, and creating sport exchange programs in SE Asia. In 2014, they became an Investor/Board Member/Manager of Youth Programming at Rose City Futsal, creating original youth academy, soccer star program and community outreach efforts. In 2016, they became a Nutrition/Marketing Consultant at Thrive Nutrition Coaching, using food and lifestyle habits to improve health and wellness. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Microbiome Labs as an Account Manager, partnering with Oregon based functional health practitioners, providing evidence based-education and training resources for MBL products, and using SalesForce CRM to deliver exceptional client service and effectively track key performance targets.

Karen Willoughby received their BA in Political Science and Economics from Colorado College. Karen then obtained a certification in Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself from LinkedIn in December 2019. In 2016, they completed their training in Clinical Nutrition/Nutritionist from the Nutritional Therapy Association. Willoughby also attended Riverwood Highschool.
