Gal Yaniv

Gal Yaniv serves as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Tel Aviv University since July 2023 and leads the Endovascular Neurosurgery division at Sheba Tel HaShomer City of Health since February 2010. Additionally, Gal Yaniv is a co-founder and Chief Medical Officer at Aidoc Medical and a member of the Board of Advisors at Microbot Medical. Prior clinical experiences include a fellowship in neuroendovascular surgery at Mount Sinai Health System and a neuroradiology fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine. Gal Yaniv's military background includes roles as an academic coordinator for the "Tzameret" medical military tract and operational physician with the Israeli Defense Forces. Gal Yaniv holds both a Doctor of Medicine and a Doctor of Philosophy from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, emphasizing expertise in apoptosis and cardiology.
