Jeff Schmidt has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as the Process Engineering Group Leader at Microchip Technology Inc. since January 2003. Prior roles at Microchip included Principal and Senior Process Engineer. Previously, Jeff held positions at Fujitsu Microelectronics as Process Engineer III and Process Engineer II, and worked as a Metallurgical Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer at Bouillon Christofferson & Schairer. Early in the career, Jeff was a Manufacturing Research & Development Engineer at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Jeff holds a BS and MS in Materials Science & Engineering from Washington State University, earned between 1988 and 1995.
