Ghafoor Shah

Ghafoor Shah, PhD, is an experienced engineer specializing in FPGA architecture and design, currently serving as Principal FPGA Engineer at Microelectronics Technology Inc. Radiocomp since June 2017. In this role, Ghafoor leads the technical aspects of FPGA design and implementation for ORAN 5G radio platforms, while previously contributing to the development of remote radio heads for 4/5G mobile networks. Academic experience includes roles as a researcher at Aalborg Universitet and Athens Information Technology, focusing on signal processing for acoustic biosignals. Ghafoor holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Aalborg University and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Linköping University.
