Akash Thakkar

Akash Thakkar is a seasoned professional in model-based development, currently serving as a Technical Lead at MicroFuzzy since December 2022. Key responsibilities include the development and maintenance of dSPACE hardware-in-the-loop test benches, customer requirement analysis, and integration of ECUs into the HIL simulation environment. Prior to this role, Akash worked as a Software Engineer at ITK Engineering, focusing on MATLAB and Simulink modeling, along with the management of vehicle simulation models. Additional experience includes a master’s thesis at ABB on MEMS-based accelerometers and several roles as a student assistant in research institutions. Akash holds a Master’s Degree in Sensor Systems Technology from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation & Control from L.D. College of Engineering.
