Migration Engineer Shift Lead at Microland

Peter Clausen has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Peter started their career as a Computer Service Technician at Seattle Micro in 1986. Later, they worked as a Light Guide Technician at AT&T from 1988 to 1990, where they were responsible for troubleshooting and installing fiber optic lines. Following that, they joined Boeing Structures Test Lab as a System and Network Administrator from 1991 to 1998. During this time, they built servers and workstations, installed hardware and software, and handled troubleshooting tasks. From 2000 to 2016, Peter worked at Eagle Home Mortgage as a Network Engineer, Server Engineer, and PC Engineer. Peter managed network switches, routers, and firewalls, administered email systems, and conducted hardware and software research, upgrades, and migrations. Lastly, they are currently working as a Migration Engineer Shift Lead at Microland Limited since 2017.

Peter Clausen obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in alternative energy systems from The Evergreen State College from 1993 to 1998. In 2013, they attended TLG learning for a course in Configuring, Managing, and Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. In 1985 and 1986, they received a computer service technology certificate from North Seattle College, specializing in computer troubleshooting and repair. Peter also holds certifications as a CNE Certified Netware Engineer from Novell and in Computer Service Technology.
