Sheron Kaviua

Sheron Kaviua is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the mining sector. Currently serving as Principal Consultant Geology at Micromine since May 2025, Sheron previously held the position of Mine Manager/Vice President of Operations at Rosh Pinah Zinc from July 2022 to February 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing the safe and sustainable management of mine operations. Prior to this, Sheron worked as Technical Services Manager and Mineral Resources Manager at Trevali from April 2016 to July 2022, focusing on mine and exploration geology and contributing to digital transformation efforts. Earlier roles include Senior Production Geologist at Exxaro Resources and Principal Consultant at Ewe Geological Services, where strategic planning and resource estimation optimization were key responsibilities. Sheron is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Geology at Rhodes University, having completed an Applied Directorship Programme at SIRDAR.
