Kerrie Duffy

Kerrie Duffy is a Senior Researcher at Micron Agritech since October 2022, with a background in research focusing on various aspects of aquatic health and disease. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Teagasc, where work centered on characterizing bovine respiratory disease complex, and as a Research Assistant at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, developing vaccines for finfish species. Duffy holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Aquaculture from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and a BSc (Hons) in Marine Science from the University of Galway. Early career experience includes positions as a Researcher at the Marine and Freshwater Research Centre and a Fisheries Assistant at Inland Fisheries Ireland.
