Hem Takiar

Hem Takiar is an experienced corporate executive with a strong background in engineering and quality assurance within the technology sector. Currently serving as Corporate Vice President at Micron Technology since May 2019, Takiar has previously held significant leadership roles including Vice President at Western Digital and multiple positions at SanDisk®, such as Vice President of Packaging/Assembly Engineering and Corporate Quality & Reliability. Earlier experience includes directorial roles at Novalux and National Semiconductor, along with a research scientist position at Cental Labs. Hem Takiar holds a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Materials Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, specializing in Metallurgy from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
