Richard Chen

Richard Chen is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor and storage industries. Currently serving as Director at Micron Technology since December 2018, Richard focuses on design automation utilizing AI/ML, CXL product development, and 3D XPoint system solutions. Prior to Micron, Richard held the position of Vice President at EpoStar, overseeing SSD controller design and NVMe IP development. Additional roles include Director at NxGn Data, Senior Manager at Western Digital, Staff ASIC Design at Marvell, and various engineering positions at AMD/Spansion and ATI. Richard holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Sun Yat-Sen University.
