Antonio Abriola

Antonio Abriola has over 30 years of work experience in various engineering and management roles. Antonio is currently the Director of Global Engineering at Microporous, LLC, specializing in Battery Separators. Prior to this, they owned their own business, MILLINIUM Engineering Services and Consulting, where they focused on International Engineering and Projects Management. Antonio also served as the Director of Worldwide Engineering at Daramic, LLC and held positions as Plant Engineering Manager at the same company. Antonio has also worked as the Technical Manager at P.I.L Prodotti Industriali Lucani S.R.L., Project Manager at S.I.N. / IMPERO Automazioni S.R.L., and Maintenance Manager at VIBAC Spa.

Antonio Abriola's education history includes several different academic and vocational experiences. In 1978-1983, they attended Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale "Albert Einstein" in Potenza, where they earned their Diploma di Perito Industriale in Industrial Engineering. In 1990-1991, they participated in a Post Secondary Level Diploma Seminar at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, focusing on CAD/CAM Technologies in the Materials Department of Naples University.

In terms of professional development, in 1994-1995, they completed Post Diploma Training at both FISHER-Rosemount Training Center and SIEMENS AG Training Center, specializing in PLC programming, design, configuration, and software development. In 2005, Abriola attended IMQ Centro Formazione, where they obtained Internal Auditor certifications for Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001 and Quality Management Systems ISO/TS16949.

In 2006, they pursued a Finance for non-financial people course at Central Piedmont Community College, which covered areas related to business finance and strategy. Abriola also attended DARAMIC Internal Educational Training in 2007, where they became an Internal Champion in the "Stage-Gate®" Innovation Process Change. Additionally, in 2008, they completed a course at CONFORMA Confindustria Formazione, becoming a Responsabile/Manager for Health, Safety, and Environmental Management as an RSPP Consulente/Resp. Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione / H&SE Manager.

Lastly, in 2011-2013, Abriola studied at Tunghai University's THU Language Center in Taichung City, Taiwan, concentrating on Chinese Mandarin.
