Anne Hamilton

Anne Hamilton has a diverse work history, with experience in various industries and roles.

Anne is currently working as a Senior Compliance Specialist at MicroPort Orthopedics, a position they started in 2023.

Prior to their current role, Anne worked at RLM Finsbury as an Associate Partner from August 2013 to September 2014. Anne'sresponsibilities included providing strategic guidance and scenario planning for effective issues management to large government and private entities in the financial services, private equity, and energy industries. Anne also managed client relationships, facilitated meetings, and conducted status calls to gauge risk appetite and determine priorities for strategic communications plans.

Before RLM Finsbury, Anne was a Consultant at Regester Larkin from August 2012 to August 2013. Anne worked with global field service providers, focusing on strategic risk in their UAE operations. Anne managed client accounts, trained teams in crisis communications and reputation strategy, and developed risk assessment procedures and mitigation strategies.

From 2010 to 2012, Anne served as a Risk Management Officer at Kuwait Energy Company. Anne designed the company's Enterprise Risk Management model and integrated it into the overall governance, strategy, and planning structures. Anne also wrote the company's risk management policy executed by the CEO.

Anne's experience also includes being a Fulbright Scholar at the U.S. Department of State from August 2009 to September 2010, an Office Manager at American University from July 2006 to August 2009, a Community-Based Organizational Development Volunteer in Thailand with the Peace Corps from August 2003 to January 2006, an Intern in Relocation at Primacy Relocation in 2003, and a member of the Onload/Offload Team at FedEx Express from April 2001 to April 2003.

Anne Hamilton obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from the University of Iowa in 2000. Anne then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in International Affairs from American University, which they completed in 2009. During the same period, they also obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in International Political Economy from American University. In 2012, Anne received a Certification in Enterprise Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management. Anne further expanded their expertise in Risk Management by earning a Certificate in Risk Management from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research in 2022. Additionally, Anne obtained the ARM designation from The Institutes in 2022. Anne has also acquired various professional certifications, including Certificant, IRM from the Institute for Risk Management in 2012, and the ISO 9001:2009 Quality Management Systems Audit certification from Bureau Veritas in 2011.
