Matthew Thomas

Matthew Thomas has a work experience that includes roles as a Quality Engineer II and a Quality Engineer at MicroPort Orthopedics, Inc. Matthew worked in the company from June 2014 to March 2018 as a Quality Engineer and from April 2018 to present as a Quality Engineer II. Prior to that, they worked as a Medical researcher/Creative Design for a Senior Design Project from August 2013 to May 2014, where they researched pathophysiology, surgical treatments, materials, and patents, produced concept illustrations, and provided team logo and designed document layout. In addition, they served as Team Leader for a Biomaterials Group Project from August 2012 to December 2012, where they coordinated the team, delegated tasks, researched pathophysiology related to the project, and proofread and edited team documents.

Matthew Thomas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Memphis, where they studied from 2008 to 2014. In addition, they obtained the certification of Certified Biomedical Auditor from ASQ - World Headquarters in October 2016.
