Andrei Ion

Andrei Ion is an experienced software engineer currently employed at Micropower Group since July 2023. Prior roles include software engineering positions at Ericsson from January 2020 to July 2023, with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies and adherence to 3GPP telecommunication standards. Andrei also worked as a software development consultant for Ericsson at Sigma Technology Group, and previously developed VoIP communication software at Rohde & Schwarz Topex. Earlier experience includes roles as a junior software developer at GRAITEC, QA validation engineer at Intel Corporation, and QA tester at Electronic Arts. Andrei holds a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Chalmers University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
