John Lovell

John Lovell has held several positions in the oil and gas industry. John began their career in 1984 at Schlumberger as a Product Line Manager - Distributed Measurements. John then went on to become a Systems Manager - Subsea Sandface Measurements, Product Discipline Manager - Coiled Tubing, Product Development and Operational Support Manager, Section Manager - Wireless Telemetry, Marketing Manager - Measurement Systems, Senior Engineer - Anadrill, Research Scientist, and Associate Research Scientist. In 1992, they took a Visiting Professor position at the University of Para, Belem, Brasil. In 2017, they became President at Data Value Consultants and VP Technology & Strategy at MicroSilicon Inc.

John Lovell completed their educational history with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, which they obtained between 1987 and 1990. Prior to that, they earned a M.A. in Mathematics from Cornell University between 1981 and 1984. Their educational history began with a B.A. and M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Oxford, which they obtained between 1977 and 1980.
