Angela M. Schmidt is a Global Strategy Lead at Microsoft’s Innovation Hub & Immersive Experiences, where they craft immersive narratives that blend data-driven outcomes with storytelling to influence multi-billion-dollar revenue outcomes. Previously, Angela held positions as a Senior Design Strategist at Nordstrom, where they redefined retail strategy, and as a Lead Design Researcher at the Gates Foundation, leading equity-centered design initiatives in K-12 education. Angela has also worked with organizations such as Amazon, AKQA, and various design firms, honing expertise in user experience and strategy. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan. Angela is currently a board member at On the Boards, contributing to the arts nonprofit sector.
