Cheng Zhao is currently a Senior Research Scientist Ⅱ at Microsoft and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, where their research focuses on AI for mobile robotics, including navigation, localization, and perception. Previously, Cheng worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Bosch USA from 2022 to 2024. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham, followed by a Postdoctoral position at the University of Oxford, and have also held a Research Associate position at Imperial College London in 2019.
