Eric Baller

Eric Baller is a Senior Security Researcher on the Microsoft Detection and Response Team (DART) since 2024, having previously served as a Cybersecurity Consultant at Microsoft from 2022 to 2024. With a strong background in digital forensics and incident response, Eric has led efforts in identifying and mitigating cyber threats for multinational corporations, leveraging expertise in threat hunting and attacker tactics. Prior to Microsoft, Eric held various roles including Senior Cyber Defense Technologist at Raytheon Technologies and Information Security Specialist in the United States Marine Corps, where they conducted security audits and supported critical operations. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Cybersecurity from Colorado State University-Global Campus.
