Kimberly Ortiz

Kimberly Ortiz is a cybersecurity professional specializing in threat intelligence and threat hunting. Kimberly served as a Systems Engineer and Technical Task Lead at Chiron Technology Services, Inc. from 2011 to 2012, and then worked at ThreatConnect, Inc. from 2012 to 2017 as a Computer Scientist and Senior Analyst. Kimberly held the position of Lead Threat Intelligence Analyst at IronNet Cybersecurity from 2017 to 2020 and was the Cybersecurity Threat Prevention Program Lead for WMATA in 2020-2021. Currently, Kimberly is a Senior Technical Program Manager at Microsoft, having previously worked as a Threat Intelligence Solutions Architect at RiskIQ, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2021. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Science in Computer Information and Network Security from DePaul University.
