Nir Avnery

Nir Avnery is the Partner Director of Security Research at Microsoft, where they lead research on posture and threat protection for various enterprise security products. Previously, Nir served as Cyber Innovation Research Director at Offensive Security Company and as VP of R&D at Kaymera Technologies, where they led the development of a security-focused Android platform. With extensive experience in cybersecurity, Nir has also held roles at Check Point Software Technologies and the Israel Defense Forces, overseeing penetration testing, vulnerability research, and team leadership in cybersecurity initiatives. Nir earned their degree from Open University.
