Richard Fitzgerald

Richard Fitzgerald is the Chief Cloud & AI Architect at Microsoft, where they assist customers in their Data & AI journey to the Microsoft Azure cloud. They specialize in Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, Azure SQL DB/DW, Databricks, and Machine Learning. Prior to their current role, Richard worked as a Senior Cloud Solution Architect in Data & AI at Microsoft and held various positions including Business Intelligence Consultant at Ridgian, Business Intelligence Developer at Monitor, Systems Analyst at AGCO Corporation, and Manager of Data & Analytics at Avanade. Richard also earned an MSc in Computer Science from The University of Birmingham and a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management from the University of Leeds.
