Tim Pearce

Tim Pearce is an AI research scientist with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, specializing in scaling laws and embodied AI. They served as a postdoctoral research fellow at Tsinghua University from 2021 to 2022, focusing on fundamental research in reinforcement and imitation learning. Tim completed their Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge, where they researched uncertainty quantification in deep neural networks. They have also contributed to the field as a researcher at The Alan Turing Institute and currently work at Microsoft Research on reinforcement learning and generative modeling for games. In addition to their research, Tim has taught various subjects related to artificial intelligence and data science.
