Richard Foust

Richard Foust has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Richard currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of MicroTransponder since January 2022. Before that, they were the Chief Commercial Officer at MicroTransponder from April 2021 to December 2021.

Prior to their role at MicroTransponder, Richard founded and served as the CEO of 3D Strategy Consulting, LLC in 2015.

Richard also has experience at Velano Vascular, where they held the position of Chief Commercial Officer from November 2018 to November 2020, focusing on building a commercial organization to scale the utilization of PIVO across hospitals in the US.

Richard's work history includes a role as a Consultant, VP, Commercial Development and Ops at Honor in May 2018 to August 2018. Richard also held the position of Chief Business Officer at Analyte Health from May 2015 to February 2018, where they were responsible for sales, corporate and business development, and strategic planning.

With a background in Abbott Vascular, Richard held various roles including Director, Area Sales West, Director, Strategic Marketing and New BVS Applications, Country Manager for The Netherlands, and Director, EMEA Coronary Marketing. Richard played key roles in Western Area Endovascular sales, business planning for investing in the treatment of occlusive disease, general management, and launching drug-eluting stents in EMEA.

Earlier in their career, Richard worked at Abbott Vascular Devices as a Group Manager, US Commercial Endovascular Marketing and as a Manager, Global Strategic Endovascular Marketing. Richard was involved in product launches, investment management, commercialization strategies, and acquisitions.

Richard has also contributed to Guidant Corporation as a Global Strategic Marketing, Product Manager, where they played a vital role in global product launches and innovative coronary systems.

Their career started at Guidant as a Senior R&D Engineer, where they worked on validating product performance in animal studies.

Throughout their career, Richard Foust has gained extensive experience in sales, marketing, strategic planning, and commercial development in the healthcare industry.

Richard Foust obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Physics from Emory University in the years 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing it in the years 1996 to 1998.
