Manuel Arenal Sariego

Manuel Arenal Sariego has a diverse work experience. Manuel is currently working as a Business Development professional at Microviable Therapeutics since June 2022. Manuel is also the Chairman of the Asturian Biotechnologists Association since October 2022.

Prior to this, Manuel worked at RHI Magnesita as a TE Senior Specialist from June 2019 to May 2022. Manuel has also worked at Pfizer, where they held two roles. First, as a Market Owner SP & PT - Accounts Payable from December 2018 to May 2019, where they coordinated invoice payments and worked on a project involving robotic process automation. Second, as an I2P Analyst from March 2017 to November 2018.

Earlier in their career, Manuel worked at Alter Via Education as an intern and later on contract basis, handling administration responsibilities such as accounting, billing, dunning, document management, and strategy and quality. Manuel also worked as an intern at Labotec, where they gained experience in laboratory techniques, including analysis of physicochemical properties of food and bacterial culture analysis. Furthermore, they interned at the University of Cagliari, collaborating in research and assisting with the preparation of microbiological culture media.

Manuel Arenal Sariego's education history begins in 2012 when they completed a Bachelor in Biotechnology - Erasmus placement at Università degli Studi di Cagliari. Manuel then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology at Universidad de Oviedo from 2010 to 2014. Afterward, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from 2014 to 2015, focusing on Business Administration and Management, General. In 2015, Manuel pursued a Master's Degree in Business/Commerce, General at ESC Clermont Business School, which was completed in 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they furthered their education at IMF Smart Education, earning a Master's Degree in Food Quality. Manuel then attended EIP International Business School from 2018 to 2020, where they completed a Master in Financial, Accounting, and HR Management. Most recently, since 2020, Manuel has been pursuing a Master in Data Analysis for Business Intelligence at Universidad de Oviedo.
