Heather Knowles

Heather Knowles is a seasoned Materials Scientist with a robust background in medical device research and development, currently serving as a Materials Consultant and Medical Device Specialist with independent projects since September 2013. Knowles has also worked with MicroVision Laboratories, Inc. as a Material Science Consultant and FTIR analyst, showcasing expertise in materials analysis. Previous experience includes a role as a Material Consultant at Butterfly Network, Inc., and significant contributions as an R&D Engineer at Philips Medical, where design and development of ultrasound transducers were key responsibilities. An earlier position as an R&D Engineer at Hewlett-Packard round out an extensive engineering career. Knowles holds a Master's degree in Materials Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
