Steve Hrynewich

Steve Hrynewich has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles in the automotive industry. Steve has held positions at MicroVision, Lucid Motors, Republic Services, General Motors, Nissan North America, Mazda Motor Corporation, and Jaguar Land Rover.

Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Global Finance at MicroVision. Prior to that, they were the Director of Corporate Finance at Lucid Motors, where they led financial planning and performance reporting on a company-wide basis. At Republic Services, they served as the Finance Director for the Northwest region, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for a $1.1 billion revenue portfolio.

At General Motors, Steve held two finance director roles: one in Global Program Cost Management, where they managed global material cost and vendor tooling performance, and another in Global Portfolio Strategy & Analysis, where they oversaw business case development and future vehicle portfolio performance.

At Nissan North America, Steve served as the Director of Electric Vehicle Programs and the Finance Director of Product Development, responsible for program management and profit delivery of electric vehicles in the Americas, as well as budget formulation and financial performance reporting for all current and future vehicles.

Before that, Steve worked at Mazda Motor Corporation as the Finance General Manager for Product Development, leading the profitability and business management of the B-Car Platform.

Lastly, at Jaguar Land Rover, they held the position of Finance Manager for Global Pricing & Revenue Management, overseeing strategic pricing and revenue management for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.

Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated strong financial acumen and leadership skills, leading teams and driving results across various companies and regions.

Steve Hrynewich holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree from the University of Windsor and an MBA degree from the same university.
