Brian Picard has over 35 years of experience in the retirement and benefits industry. Brian began their career in 1986 at Cigna, where they served as Director, Assistant Vice President, and Vice President. During their time at Cigna, Brian introduced digital self-service capabilities to transform Defined Benefit customers' experience and achieved productivity improvements. Brian also developed and executed the business strategy to launch health and welfare benefits administration services. In 2004, Brian joined Prudential Retirement as Vice President. Brian successfully led a cross-functional team to develop and implement a unique integration model for business process outsourcing of the Defined Benefit administration business. In 2021, Brian joined Micruity as Head of Product Operations. Brian is responsible for the implementation of Micruity's data infrastructure services that facilitate a partnership between DC Plan recordkeepers, insurers and other stakeholders to easily offer institutional lifetime income products to plan sponsors and participants.
Brian Picard has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Colby College. Brian also holds several certifications, including Agile Product Owner Role: Techniques, Scrum: Advanced, and Scrum: The Basics from LinkedIn, Cert Prep: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from LinkedIn, Connecticut State Insurance License (Life, Accident and Health) from INSURANCE, CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF, and FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 from FINRA.
