Christie Smith has been working in higher education since 2013. Christie started as a Manager of eLearning Instructional Services at Tarrant County College. In 2016, they became an Assistant Dean at the same school. The following year, they took on a new role as Adjunct Professor at Rose State College. In 2017, they became the Director of the Faculty Resource Center at Southern Nazarene University. Christie is currently the Director of Curriculum Services at Mid-America Christian University.
Christie Smith has a Doctor of Education from Abilene Christian University in Organizational Leadership (Higher Ed), a MEd from the University of Houston in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University. Christie is currently working on their second Doctor of Education from Abilene Christian University in Organizational Leadership.
