Sharon Lease

Sharon Lease is currently the VP of Academic Affairs and CAO at Mid-America Christian University. Prior to that, they were an Associate Professor at Texas A&M University - Texarkana from January 2011 to December 2011. Before that, they worked as the Assistant State Superintendent at the Oklahoma State Department of Education from January 2004 to June 2011. In that role, they oversaw accreditation and school personnel records, as well as the Indian Education Division. Sharon has a long history of working in education, previously serving as Deputy State Superintendent. Sharon is a highly qualified and experienced leader in the field of education.

Sharon Lease works with Jennifer Randall - EVP, Enrollment, Anthony Yousey - Head Coach for Women's Soccer, and Madeleine Williams - Admissions Counselor. Sharon Lease reports to Bobbie Spurgeon-Harris, EVP, VP, College of Adult and Graduate Studies. Ray Dillman - Director, Department of Institutional Effectiveness, Julie Shatswell - Executive Assistant for Academic Affairs, and Amanda Harris - Executive Director, Strategic Initiative & Advisor to President report to Sharon Lease.
