In addition, Mikkele serves as a Rutgers Certified Master Gardener at Rutgers Cooperative Extension, providing public education in gardening and horticulture. With a background in Feng Shui consultations, landscape design, and organizational services, Mikkele has a diverse professional background in both finance and therapeutic horticulture.

A dynamic community of horticultural therapists, aspiring horticultural therapists and others who support the practice of horticultural therapy. A professional organization that enthusiastically provides members with educational opportunities, HT program site visits, networking with colleagues to exchange ideas and materials, training in business skills and strategies, timely job postings and engaging service projects. Through membership in MAHTN, we share friendship and resources. Together, we work to elevate our professional and personal development and promote the practice of horticultural therapy in the region.
