Mike Vatter

Mike Vatter has been in the machinery industry for over 40 years. Mike started their career as a machine operator at Alro Steel Corporation in 1978. Mike was promoted to inside salesman after three years and then left the company in 1981 to become a regional manager at ATI (Allegheny Technologies Incorporated). Mike worked at ATI for five years before moving to KJ Kilgallen Company in 1986, where they stayed for five years as regional manager. In 1991, they joined Mid Atlantic Machinery, Inc. as a regional sales representative, covering central and northeastern North Carolina and southwestern Virginia. Mike has been with Mid Atlantic Machinery for 28 years and is currently the regional sales representative for central and northeastern North Carolina and southwestern Virginia.

Mike Vatter holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from York College of Pennsylvania. Mike is also certified as a Manufacturing Technology Sales Engineer from the Association for Manufacturing Technology. In addition, they serve on the Business Board of Advisors for Vistage International.

They work with Jeff Desper - Regional Sales Representative - Virginia, Marco Salgado - Regional Sales Manager - Florida, and Paul Buckshon - Regional Sales Manager - Western North Carolina; Northwestern South Carolina. Mike Vatter reports to Bill Plourd, Vice President.
