Bill McQuaid, CISSP, has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations and a retail company. Bill served as the Chief Technology Officer at Mid Coast Hospital, where they managed the technology infrastructure aligned with business goals. Prior to this, they were the Chief Information Officer and Assistant Vice President at Parkview Adventist Medical Center, overseeing operations of information systems and telecommunications. Bill also held several roles at Central Maine Healthcare, including Director of Financial and Administrative Applications. Additionally, they worked as a Network Support Specialist at L.L. Bean.

Bill McQuaid, CISSP, holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Maine, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology from Southern Maine Technical College, from 1991 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Bill McQuaid has obtained the (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in April 2020.
