Alex Schumacher is a dedicated Physician Assistant currently working at Mid-Ohio Emergency Services since October 2018, with experience in multiple OhioHealth Emergency Departments, including Riverside Methodist Hospital and Grant Medical Center. Alex has held several leadership roles, such as being a member of the Grant Medical Center APP Peer Review Committee and serving as a Clinical Preceptor. Prior experience includes roles as a Physician Assistant Student at Wake Forest University, an Emergency Medical Technician in Hudson, Ohio, and a Research Assistant at MOVES Sports Medicine Biomechanics Laboratory. Alex holds a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from The Ohio State University.
