Matt Dotts

Matt Dotts serves as the AVP and Information Security Awareness Officer at Mid Penn Bank, a position held since November 2022, managing the information security awareness program for diverse stakeholders. Since January 2019, Matt has also been an Adjunct Faculty member at HACC, teaching courses in Criminal Justice, including Criminal Law and Procedure and Laws of Evidence. Prior to these roles, Matt worked as a Task Force Officer for the FBI from May 2017 to November 2022, focusing on complex financial crime and cyber investigations in various capacities. Matt's investigative career began with Derry Township Police from April 1999 to November 2022 as a Criminal Investigator, leading cases in fraud, identity theft, and cybercrime, while providing training and public education on cybersecurity. Matt holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Digital Forensics from DeSales University and a Bachelor's and Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Shippensburg University and HACC, respectively.
